Corentin Bernard is interested in understanding how humans perceive haptic feedback and the sounds associated with it. His work focuses on psychophysics to better understand our perception of haptic surfaces, multimodal integration with audio and haptic synthesis and human-machine interface.
He graduated from the Ecole Centrale de Marseille and holds a master’s degree in acoustics. He has been a doctoral student since 2018 as part as a collaboration between PSA group, the Perception, Representations, Image, Sound and Music Laboratory (PRISM) and the Institute of Movement Sciences (ISM) of the Aix-Marseille Université.
